HBO's candid and unsparing Curb Your Enthusiasm returns for a sixth season exclusively on The Movie Network

    Larry David's hit comedy series kicks off its new season Sunday,
    September 9

    TORONTO, Aug. 8 /CNW/ - The award-winning HBO hit comedy series Curb Your
Enthusiasm returns for a ten-episode sixth season, premiering exclusively in
Canada day-and-date with HBO on Astral Media's The Movie Network on Sunday,
September 9 at 8:30 p.m. ET.
    Blurring the lines between reality and fiction, executive producer and
Seinfeld co-creator Larry David stars as himself in the award-winning,
half-hour series that features verité-style footage of David at home, at work
and around Los Angeles, and includes appearances by real-life celebrities
playing themselves. Each unscripted episode is improvised by the actors with
storylines created by David.
    This season's storylines feature an African-American family named "The
Blacks" who are displaced by Hurricane Edna and end up moving in with Larry
and Cheryl; Larry's anger after a dry cleaner loses his Yankees jersey; the
David family's attempt at making up for a missed dinner party by showing up a
day late; and Larry's attempt at stealing flowers from a car-crash memorial.
    Curb Your Enthusiasm also stars Cheryl Hines as David's wife "Cheryl" and
Jeff Garlin as his manager "Jeff." The first episode of the new season is
directed by Larry Charles and guest stars Richard Lewis, Ted Danson, Mary
Steenburgen, Vivica A. Fox and Bob Einstein.
    Curb Your Enthusiasm can also be seen on The Movie Network's HD channel,
and new episodes will be accessible on The Movie Network OnDemand the Tuesday
following their network premiere.
