Hbc Contributes over $700K to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation

    TORONTO, June 23 /CNW/ - Today Hudson's Bay Company (Hbc) presented a
cheque for $700,000 to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation from funds raised
by last year's Think Pink(TM) Campaign. The annual Think Pink(TM) campaign
raises funds during the month of October through the sale of various products
in each of the Bay, Zellers and Home Outfitters locations.
    "We are very proud of the Think Pink campaign's ongoing success, and the
company's contributions to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation," said Diane
Gordon, Director of Community Investment for Hbc. "We look forward to

    This year Hbc is offering exclusive pink merchandise through its Bay,
Zellers, and Home Outfitters stores throughout Canada; net proceeds will go
directly to support the Canadian Brest Cancer Foundation. Hbc has engaged its
vendors and developed their own marquee items including the Think Pink(TM)
Signature Throw available at the Bay, and the Think Pink(TM) Apron from Home
