Harry Magazine Turns Ten



    Canada's luxury magazine for men celebrates 10th Anniversary with
    revamped design and online presence

    TORONTO, Aug. 28 /CNW/ - With the upcoming launch of its fall issue in
September, bi-annual Harry Magazine is set to turn ten years old. The special
celebration issue will continue to cover fashion issues and trends for
Canadian men with an updated approach. A new dedicated website at
www.harrymagazine.ca will also see the magazine go online for the first time
in its ten year history with expanded lifestyle coverage for men.
    "We've been busy planning our 10th anniversary issue since last January,"
states Larry Rosen, CEO and Chairman of Harry Rosen Inc. and Executive
Publisher of Harry Magazine. "Since my father first dreamt up the idea for an
intelligent men's fashion magazine in 1996, Harry Magazine has filled a unique
spot in the Canadian marketplace. We know our customers look to Harry for
practical advice on fashion, and we look forward to keeping Harry relevant to
our clients for another ten years and beyond."
    Shot almost entirely on location this summer in Rome and Solomeo, Italy,
the fall issue includes more than 40 pages of fashion photography. As well,
much-loved columns 'Harry's Notebook' and 'Ask Harry' will be updated with a
fresh take on how they present the advice sought after by readers. As always,
Harry will demonstrate Harry Rosen Inc.'s inherent understanding of quality,
selection and expertise in menswear.
    Under the direction of seasoned editor James Chatto, the feature story
this fall will focus on what has transpired in the course of men's fashion
during the last 10 years. The online version of the magazine - while not a
direct copy of the published version - will offer up short articles on various
lifestyle topics; updates of current fashion essentials; a photo diary of
events and much more. It will change frequently and be able to respond to the
needs and wants of readers in a timely fashion, with help from partners and
sponsors.
    "Harry Magazine is a unique publication in that it is both a marketing

    Harry Magazine has a controlled circulation of 100,000. It is also sold
on select newsstands nationally at Indigo and Chapters. The 10th anniversary
issue will be distributed in early September with the launch of
www.harrymagazine.ca to follow shortly thereafter.
