announce assay results from three additional holes from its 2008 Aurizon Zone
Phase 1 drill program on its Lac La Hache copper-gold property, British

    The locations of these drill holes are indicated on the Generalized
Geology and Drill Hole Locations map of the Aurizon Zone, which can be found
on the Company's website at These holes were
designed to test the eastern periphery of the central Aurizon Zone and to add
to the Company's understanding of the complex internal structures, marked by
numerous minor faults which have disrupted the continuity of mineralization.
Relatively tight drill hole spacing has been used to define these structures,
supporting the establishment of a reliable block model for resource
    To date, assays remain pending for 21 holes drilled under the now
completed Phase 1 Aurizon Zone 2008 Program. These will be released as soon as
they are received from the assayer, following verification. As announced on
May 21, 2008, faulted extensions of the Zone to north and south remain open
and will be further tested in a second phase of Aurizon Zone drilling, once
permitting is approved.

    Peach 1 and 2 Prospects
    The Company is nearing completion of Phase 1 drilling on its Peach 1
prospect where 21 holes to date have encountered visible mineralization within
volcanic and intrusive host rocks. Assay results for all or portions of
9 holes have been received and will be released soon, following verification,
accompanied by a detailed geology/mineralization map. The Company is
encouraged by the results to date and awaits permitting approval to support
additional drilling in the same area. In the meantime, the Company will
commence drilling in a permitted area designated as the Peach 2 Prospect,
located approximately 400 m to the southeast of Peach 1. The locations of
these Zones are indicated on a generalized colour geology map on the Company's
web site. At Peach 2, well defined, coincident soil geochemical, ground and
airborne geophysical anomalies define a new, prospective target - the largest
soil Cu-Au-Ag anomaly within the entire property. Recent drill road
construction into the Peach 2 Prospect exposed previously undiscovered,
copper-mineralized bedrock, providing strong evidence that the soil anomaly
directly overlies the mineralized source rocks. The Company is eager to begin
exploration in this exciting new area. The currently drill-defined trend of
Peach 1 mineralization strikes southeast at approximately 120 degrees,
directly towards the Peach 2 copper-gold-silver soil geochemical anomaly,
suggesting a potentially continuous zone. Phase 2 drilling will test this

    Additional News

    This summer, the Company will continue evaluation of additional targets
within its large Lac La Hache Project, including prospecting of coincident
airborne and ground geophysical/geochemical anomalies. Cooperative field
studies designed to improve understanding of the surficial and bedrock geology
will be undertaken in partnership with scientists from the Geological Survey
of Canada in Ottawa and Vancouver. Quaternary geology expert Alain Plouffe
will examine surficial deposits (glacial/fluvial material), related chemistry
and mineralogy, to better interpret the sources and significance of soil
copper/gold anomalies. Bedrock mapping expert Bob Anderson will sample various
intrusions on the property for their chemical compositions and age dating, to
improve geological and exploration models. Ground gamma ray spectrometric
studies by consultant Rob Shives (GamX Inc) will help explain sources of the
large, anomalous airborne spectrometric patterns, which appear similar to
those associated with porphyry copper-gold mines in the Mount Polley, Afton,
Mount Milligan and several others areas. The Company will also evaluate the
utility of a new high-performance portable XRF analyser, as a tool to screen
drill core and surface samples for subsequent lab assaying. If successful, the
technique may allow the Company to reduce significantly the number of
(unmineralized) samples sent for geochemical assays, thereby reducing costs
and assay turn-around delays.


    The Company has purchased a large and well designed facility to support
consolidation and expansion of existing office, core logging/processing and
secure core storage facilities. The site is ideally located along paved
Highway 97, only a few kms from amenities in Lac La Hache and 15 minutes from
the exploration property. Photos of this new site are posted at The Company will complete minor renovations before moving
into the new building later this summer.
