Guided tour of Concordia University's new building for the John Molson School of Business

    MONTREAL, Aug. 19 /CNW Telbec/ - The Dean of the John Molson School of
Business (JMSB), Sanjay Sharma, would like to invite members of the media to
an exclusive preview visit of the JMSB's new building on Concordia
University's downtown campus, Friday, August 21st at 10am.
    The tour will include a sneak peek at the following features:
    - The solar wall, a world first, located on the 16th floor
    - The tunnel linking the new building with the metro and the EV pavilion
    - Works of art by renowned artists Genevieve Cadieux and Pierre
    - Elements of architectural design including:
        - The "floating room" for special events, featuring the work of
          Pierre Blanchette
        - Atriums, study and lounge areas
        - Amphitheatres and classrooms equipped with cutting edge technology
    The visit should last an hour.

    Participants include:

    Sanjay Sharma, the Dean of the JMSB; architects Jacob Fichten, Bruce
Kuwabara, Marianne McKenna and Gerald Soiferman of the Consortium Kuwabara
Payne McKenna Blumberg and Fichten Soiferman and Associates (KPMB/FSA en
consortium); Gilles Desrochers Ing., project manager; Meli Stylianou, Solar
Buildings Research Network; and Sandra Margolian, office of special projects
and cultural affairs at Concordia University.
