GoodLife Fitness Moving to Downtown Winnipeg

Canwest Place home to newest facility

WINNIPEG, Feb. 12 /CNW/ - Creswin Properties Inc. and GoodLife Fitness
announced today that Canwest Place will be home to the newest fitness facility
in Winnipeg. GoodLife, Canada's leading fitness chain, has leased almost
16,000 sq. ft on the seventh floor of Canwest Place and will be opening a
state-of-the-art fitness facility later this year.
The addition of this new club will bring the total number of GoodLife
Fitness clubs in Winnipeg to four. GoodLife will be offering the same great
amenities featured in each of its clubs including top-of-the-line
cardiovascular and strength equipment and the popular cardio theatre
entertainment system. The "only at GoodLife" edgy Les Mills group exercise
programs, considered the best in the world, will introduce members to popular
programs such as BodyFlow (yoga moves), BodyJam (dance based exercise to great
music) and RPM (indoor cycling). Additional services include personal training
and a virtual reality fitness and health assessment tool called the Visual
Fitness Planner.
Canwest Place is Winnipeg's premier office tower and is the centrepiece
of Winnipeg's business district. Centrally located at Portage and Main,
Canwest Place is home to Winnipeg's leading national and international
businesses. This is the second large tenant to announce a move into downtown
Winnipeg and Canwest Place this year, following the move of Meyers Norris
Penny LLP earlier this month. The deal to bring GoodLife to Canwest Place was
brokered by Ken Yee and Cole Akerstream, Cushman & Wakefield Lepage.
GoodLife Fitness is Canada's largest and most successful fitness company
with over 165 locations across Canada. This year GoodLife celebrates 30 years
in business and the company's sixth consecutive year as an award recipient of
Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies.
