Canada's Largest Oil and Gas Event in 2007 Offers Delegates Added
Features to Elevate Show to the Next Level
CALGARY, April 30 /CNW/ - The Gas and Oil Exposition (GO-EXPO) 2007,
Canada's largest oil and gas event of the year, will be held June 12 - 14,
2007. More than 20,000 registered delegates from 54 countries will convene to
view 600 exhibiting companies and cover more than 150,000 net square feet of
features, events, and indoor and outdoor exhibits at Calgary's Stampede Park.
"GO-EXPO 2007 is a great opportunity for local to international delegates
in the oil and gas industry to network and showcase their latest innovations
in equipment, products and services," said Paula Arnold, marketing manager of
business media for dmg world media (Canada) inc. "This year marks our largest
show to date and we are excited to introduce four new features to enhance the
delegates' experience and elevate GO-EXPO to the next level. This year's new
features include: Environmental Services Association of Alberta (ESAA)
Professional Development Courses, International Association of Directional
Drilling (IADD) Workshops, GO-ROAD Truck Test Drive Track, Heavy Oil 101
courses, in addition to Keynote Luncheons."

non-technical industry delegates will get an overview of Alberta's unique
heavy oil/oil sands industry. They will also discover that while the oil sands
do represent the largest growth component in heavy oil development, much of
the applied technology has been developed through conventional heavy oil
operations. Heavy Oil 101 is presented by the Canadian Heavy Oil Association
and the Government of Alberta in conjunction with dmg world media and
Another exciting addition to GO-EXPO 2007 is the GO-ROAD Truck Test Drive
Track sponsored by Daimler Chrysler. This new feature will bring together the
manufacturers of vehicles designed for the oil and gas industry and the
buyers. Delegates can view the latest and toughest vehicles and enter for a
chance to test drive the vehicles of the GO-ROAD test track around Stampede
The Keynote Luncheon Series, which was introduced at Global Petroleum
Show 2006, will also make its GO-EXPO debut. The Luncheon will run each day
