Globalive launches next phase of, Lacavera invites wireless leaders to participate in 'live soapbox' forum

    Announces plans for two brands to meet the needs of Canadians

    TORONTO, June 9 /CNW/ - Today, Globalive Communications Corp. launched
the next phase of, and officially announced that as a
result of the extensive feedback received on the site, they will be
introducing two brands to the Canadian market. In addition to its improved
functionality, the new site will also see Anthony Lacavera, Chairman and CEO
of Globalive Communications Corp. host regular 'live soapbox' chats on all
things wireless. Mr. Lacavera is inviting other Canadian wireless leaders to
join him in a future live forum where the featured topic will be: "Wireless
Around the World: How does Canada stack up?" The date for the live soapbox
forum will be announced in the coming weeks.
    With comments still posted daily, Wireless Soapbox has fast become a
vehicle for Canada's wireless revolution. Since Globalive Communications Corp.
launched the site last fall nearly 100,000 Canadians have visited the site and
posted almost 10,000 comments, ideas and opinions on what they want in

especially important to Canadians. In general, most people want better
customers service and hate system access fees. Many want features like
