Globalive launches new YakCell callback feature

Unique callback feature can save customers cellular airtime charges and
up to 88 per cent on long distance calling on cell phones

TORONTO, March 27 /CNW/ - Globalive Communications Corp., a leading
provider of next generation telecommunications solutions globally, today
launched a new YakCell callback feature that will provide cell phone users
with even greater long distance savings, greater ease-of-use with one simple
access number and, for users with incoming airtime packages, the ability to
avoid using their valuable outgoing minutes.
"YakCallback is another example of Globalive's commitment to create
products that are market-leading and provide value-added features for our
customers," said Anthony Lacavera, Globalive's Chairman and Chief Executive
Officer. "The new yakCallback feature gives consumers the ability to leverage
free incoming or unlimited incoming minute cellular plans for all their
outgoing calls."
This innovative feature is free for all subscribers to the yakCell
service plan and enables customers to turn outgoing cellular calls into
incoming minutes. All long distance minutes used on the call are billed at
yakCell's rates, which are up to 88 per cent lower than carrier rates. yakCell
long distance rates are as low as 3.5 cents to Canada and the United States
compared to 25 to 30 cents per minute charged by other cellular providers.

    How it works:
    1. Any cell phone user can sign up for the yakCell plan regardless of
        their cellular provider
    2. Users dial 416.204.0004, and are directed immediately to a busy
    3. Once they hang up, the system calls them back prompting them to make
        their outgoing call.
    4. The call is then billed at low yakCell rates and users are not billed
at all if their plans include free incoming minutes.

Benefits of Communicating with yakCell and the new callback feature:
    - No long distance charge to make the initial connection to the
yakCallback system using a simple access number across Canada and the
       United States
    - Customers receive a monthly e-bill with all call details free of
charge in-line with yakCell's environmental initiatives
    - Current yakCell customers will automatically be added to the system
and can start using the feature without additional set up or
    - Long distance rates as low as 3.5 cents to Canada and the United
    - Bonus of 60 free minutes to anywhere in Canada and USA for new
       customers subscribing to yakCell

yakCell is currently developing SMS, and web enabled applications to be
launched later this year.
yakCell is a product of Yak Communications (Canada) Corp. Yak's most
prominent long distance offering is 10-10-yak (925), a dial around long
distance service that offers very economical per minute rates. Globalive
Communications Corp. acquired Yak Communications Inc. and LooneyCall in the
fourth quarter of 2006.
