"GLOBAL 1" TO DELIVER LIVE TRAFFIC REPORTS ON "MORNING NEWS" AND
EDMONTON, June 20 /CNW/ - Global News Edmonton has launched the first and
only television news and traffic helicopter in the city - "Global 1."
In partnership with Canadian Traffic Network (CTN), the "Global 1" team
will deliver market-leading helicopter content, including live drive-time
traffic coverage on the Morning News and Early News. "Global 1" is also a
state-of-the-art tool for breaking news coverage, adding to Global's
reputation as home of Edmonton's most comprehensive local news coverage.

and Chris Hayden. Kris is a veteran broadcaster and is best known in the city
for her morning traffic reports at 630 CHED. Chris is a retired police
sergeant and former media spokesperson who has worked with the Edmonton Police
Service for 26 years.
