BURNABY, BC, Aug. 1 /CNW/ - Glentel Inc. today announced that the
University of Saskatchewan has awarded the company a project designed to
extend the life of the wireless communications system on the Saskatoon campus.
The $350,000 contract for an infrastructure upgrade is to be completed in
August 2007. The upgrade includes the provision and installation of a trunked
radio system controller and telephone interconnect along with several new
radio frequency repeaters for the campus-wide communications system used by
security and facilities management.
