Giving Thanks To Those Who Built Ontario Together

McGuinty Celebrates Thanksgiving, Ontario's Past And Moving Ontario
    Forward To A Stronger Future

LONDON, ON, Oct. 8 /CNW/ - Ontario's strength comes from its people,
working together, and only a vote for the Ontario Liberals will stop the
Conservatives' scheme to divide us by privatizing health care and sending
public dollars to private religious schools, said Premier McGuinty at a
campaign stop in London this evening.
"Our parents and grandparents came together to build this province
through hard work and a vision for a better future," said McGuinty. "Our
responsibility is to build on this foundation, rather than tear it apart as
the Conservatives propose."
"People from around the world look at the society we have built here and
how we've built it by bringing people, from all over the world, together, and
they see something truly and wonderfully special," said McGuinty.
"They see a place where people of every race, creed and origin, work and
build and dream together - that's the Ontario way - and what we're fighting to
protect in this election."
Premier McGuinty was joined by his London area Liberal candidates Deb
Matthews, Chris Bentley, Steve Peters, and Khalil Ramal.
"We have made so much progress strengthening public education and health
care in London," said McGuinty. "That is why we campaign, why we fight, why we
are Ontario Liberals - because we want to build a better Ontario for future
"Our mission is to build on what we have inherited and build a future
that is even more inclusive, even more prosperous, and even brighter," said
"Our mission is to work and build and dream the Ontario way - and that is
to work and build and dream together."
"For too many years in this province, we were governed by parties that
sought to divide us for political gain, governments who attacked selected
groups, instead of leading us all forward, together," said Premier McGuinty.
"Well, Ontarians rejected the politics of division last time and they're going
to reject them this time."
"There is no place like this place and there's no way we're going to go
back. We're going to keep London and Ontario moving forward, together."
