Genesis at the Olympic Stadium - Doors open at 6 p.m. - Spectators should arrive soon - Objects prohibited at the Stadium

MONTREAL, Sept. 13 /CNW Telbec/ - In an effort to ensure that spectators
don't miss one second of tomorrow's Genesis concert, Olympic Stadium
management recommends that ticket holders show up as soon as possible after
the doors open.
The Stadium's doors will open at 6 p.m., two hours before the band takes
the stage, which should keep the flow of spectators entering the Stadium
moving smoothly.
In addition, with the security of spectators being a priority, ticket
holders are urged not to bring any object that may pose a potential danger,
such as bottles, cans or any other liquid container. Such objects can cause
serious injuries if thrown accidentally from one level of bleachers to
another. For this reason, all beverages served at the Stadium come in
lightweight and soft plastic cups whose contents spill when falling, thereby
reducing the risk of injury.
The event promoter has also prohibited the use of video cameras.
Getting to the Stadium early and respecting these guidelines will reduce
the amount of time spent waiting at the gates, and will ensure that spectators
see the show in its entirety.
