Funeral Industry Veteran, Heather Patterson, Joins Everest as Vice President of Sales

    Patterson drives new strategic sales direction for North America

    TORONTO, Sept. 18 /CNW/ - Everest(SM) Funeral, the first nationwide
funeral concierge service, has tapped the expertise of funeral industry
veteran Heather Patterson to build the largest career sales force team of its
kind. Patterson, in her role as vice president, sales, North America, will
recruit a preeminent sales force for key markets across the United States and
Canada as well as expanding relationships with independent financial advisors.
This new sales direction comes on the heels of significant growth and
expansion for the company in the Canadian market.

    Patterson was formerly director of sales and marketing for Canada and
Northeast US with Alderwoods Group (formerly the Loewen Group). She is a
licensed funeral director and embalmer and is a past president of the Funeral
Service Association of Canada, Canada's largest association of funeral
directors. Patterson has also served on the Canadian Coalition Council of
Funeral Professionals and on the Executive Board for the Western Canadian
Cemetery Association.
