Franklin Templeton Investments Corp. announces fund merger

    TORONTO, March 20 /CNW/ - Franklin Templeton Investments Corp. today
announced a proposed merger of the Bissett Income Trust Fund into the Bissett
Income Fund, which will be voted on at a special meeting of unitholders on
June 1, 2007 in Toronto.
    While subject to both security holder and regulatory approval, the
proposed merger will take effect as of the close of business on June 8, 2007.
