Fortsum Business Solutions Takes an Important Step in its Executive Reorganization

    QUEBEC, Nov. 14 /CNW Telbec/ - Fortsum Business Solutions Inc. (Fortsum
Business Solutions) (TSX Venture Exchange: FRT) announces changes to its
executive officer team, thus completing a major step in the reorganization
process begun last spring.
    Denis Ratté has resigned as Fortsum Business Solutions President, but
will continue to participate in the Corporation as a special technology
consultant to André Thompson, who, henceforth, will serve as both President
and Chief Executive Officer of Fortsum Business Solutions.
    Marc Lalancette, the current Chief Financial Officer, assumes the role of
Vice-president, Software Manufacturing segment. Thus the responsibility for
marketing, deployment and technical support of products and solutions
developed or marketed by Fortsum Business Solutions is added to his current
duties until the appointment of a new Chief Financial Officer. Denis Carrier,
the heretofore Vice-president for the Sage ACCPAC(R) and SAP Business One(TM)
practices, has been named Vice-president, Integration segment and will assume
complete responsibility for Fortsum Business Solutions' activities related to
the sale and integration of business solutions developed by major
manufacturing partners in the industry.
    Hired last May as Fortsum Business Solutions' Human Capital Manager,
Ginette Morin has been promoted to Vice-president, Human Capital and will
assume responsibility for the corporate human resources department. Her new
duties include employee retention programs, recruitment, productivity and
resource development for both activity segments.
    "This decisive step in Fortsum Business Solutions' corporate
reorganization undergirds its new management model oriented toward results and
increased productivity on the part of its members," commented Chief Executive
Officer, André Thompson. "I believe this strategic repositioning within the
executive team will stimulate performance, the benefits of which will be felt

the results of our actions over the coming months and years," added Thompson.
