Food inspectors' union head says 17 federal departments face potentially deadly cuts

    OTTAWA, Oct. 8 /CNW Telbec/ - The listeriosis outbreak that's killed 20
Canadians could be "the tip of the iceberg" for food safety and risks from
other federal cutbacks, says Agriculture Union President Bob Kingston.
    He told CFIA cutbacks, which contributed to the
outbreak, were more moderate than those planned by the government for other
