Flint announces multi-year construction contract

    CALGARY, Jan. 5 /CNW/ - Flint Energy Services Ltd. (Flint, the Company)
announced today that the Company has been awarded a multi-year construction
contract to provide well pads and pipelines for CSS Thermal Oilsands
facilities in northeastern Alberta. The contract is with a major oil & gas
company and is valued at approximately $16 million to $18 million annually
under an "evergreen term", which allows for the contract to continue into the
future based on mutually agreed upon conditions.
    The work will take place in northeastern Alberta and will be performed by
Flint's personnel based in Bonnyville and Cold Lake, Alberta starting
    Bill Lingard, President and Chief Executive Officer of Flint said, "We
are very pleased to have been awarded this multi-year contract. The evergreen
feature of the contract allows us to make long term commitments of our
resources, offering better execution, improved safety, and overall improved
service for the life of the agreement."
