Frito-Lay's Newest Brand Combines Great Taste with the Goodness of Real
Fruits and Vegetables
TORONTO, Oct. 4 /CNW/ - Frito Lay Canada is pleased to introduce a
brand-new snack: Flat Earth(TM) baked vegetable crisps and fruit crisps! The
Flat Earth brand was created by Frito-Lay with the goal of offering a
better-for-you snack that combines great taste and the goodness of real
vegetables and fruits in an Impossibly Good(TM) snack crisp.
Flat Earth baked vegetable and fruit crisps are made from a blend of
rice, potatoes and provide a half serving of real vegetables or fruits per
approximately 14 crisps. Flat Earth fruit crisps and veggie crisps are
available in three delicious flavours. Two flavours are savoury (Garlic & Herb
Field(TM) and Tangy Tomato Ranch) and one is sweet (Peach Mango Paradise(TM)).
Frito-Lay's Flat Earth fruit crisps and vegetable crisps are now available at
Wal-Mart and at select grocery stores across Canada.

changed. The brand's whimsical icon, the Flying Pig, is a fitting symbol for a
snack that was once thought impossible ("When pigs fly").
