First American Scientific Corp (FASC - OTCBB) announces US Patent Office has confirmed allowable subject matter in our patent application "Recovery of Fuel from Biomass" which will result in the granting a new patent for the KDS biomass processing system

VANCOUVER, June 16 /CNW/ - Mr. C. L. Kantonen, Chairman of FASC is
pleased to announce that we received confirmation today that our US patent
application for the "Recovery of fuel and clay from biomass" contains
allowable subject matter, meaning that we will be granted a new US process
patent for our KDS equipment to cover the conversion of biomass to alternative
green fuels.
According to Brian Nichols, President of FASC, "this is a major
breakthrough for us to receive confirmation that our process is unique and
innovative in creating alternative fuels from biomass. Our patent attorney is
now preparing the documentation for final submission with the expectation that
the new patent should be issued within 60 days. The same application is now
before the patent review board in Malaysia where similar approval is
According to Noel Wambeck, P.Eng, consulting engineer and a partner in
FASC-Malaysia, the KDS Micronex system plays an integral role in the efficient
preparation of biomass into green fuel. We have searched the world over for
viable alternatives, but can find nothing that can compare to the KDS
equipment for process, efficiency and cost. The potential for the KDS system
in our market is exceptional and the patent approval confirms the KDS system
is the front runner in the industry with unparalleled characteristics and
value in alternative energy production.
The KDS "Kinetic Disintegration System" creates a clean dry powder from
all forms of waste biomass in an efficient, cost effective manner without the
use of any supplemental fuel. In addition, the end product is EPA certified
pathogen free suitable for use as a Class A fertilizer, or can be pelletized
into a clean burning fuel which can be used in both domestic or industrial
burners. With licensed operations in North America, South America, Asia and
Europe, First American Scientific Corp is well poised to dominate in the
renewable energy markets.
