TORONTO, March 19 /CNW/ - The City of Toronto is collecting information
about activities - such as exhibitions, films, lectures, book launches,
readings and walking tours - for the 3rd annual Festival of Architecture and
Design (fAd) in May 2007.
Festival partners invite additional organizations, firms or individuals
in Toronto's design communities to help showcase the tremendous talent that
our city enjoys. Events will be included in a printed calendar and on the fAd
website at www.toronto.ca/fad.
Last year's festival included 73 scheduled events with 35 supporters
leading up to Doors Open Toronto on the last weekend in May. This year Doors
Open Toronto will have a "green" theme and the festival will continue to be a
part of the City's Live with Culture campaign.
Interested designers and groups with program ideas and event information
are invited to call 416-338-2432 or send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org by March
