"Give Peace A Chance" is a collection of photographs shot by Gerry Deiter
during John Lennon and Yoko Ono's 1969 eight day Bed-in For Peace at the Queen
Elizabeth Hotel in Montreal. Deiter was assigned by LIFE magazine to
photograph the couple, as celebrities and visitors poured through the room. It
was during this protest that Lennon wrote and recorded the song Give Peace A
Chance. Many of the photographs have never been previously displayed.
