ExelTech Aerospace announces management changes

    Mathieu Fortin rejoining Board of Directors and Laurent Soustiel
    appointed Legal Director and Corporate Secretary

    MONTREAL, April 9 /CNW Telbec/ - ExelTech Aerospace Inc. ("ExelTech
Aerospace", "ExelTech" or "the Company") (TSX-V: XLT), a leading aircraft
maintenance, repair and overhaul provider with operations in Montreal and
Quebec City, announced that, after departing more than 18 months ago, Mr.
Mathieu Fortin has rejoined the Board of Directors of the Company. Mr. Fortin
had been a member of the Board from early 2003 until August 2007. "Mathieu
brings a strong grounding in the Company and a solid understanding of the MRO
industry" said Mr. Russell Ray, Chairman of the Board. "We welcome Mathieu and
his keen insight back to the Board". "I'm excited to rejoin a company that
continues to show great signs of improvements", said Mr. Fortin.
    Mr. Fortin has served as director on the boards of Americam and Nurun
(Informission Group) as well as his prior experience on the board of ExelTech.
He was a founder and Senior Vice President, Technology at Nurun from 1985
through 2000. Mr. Fortin has a B.Sc. in Biology from the University of
    Mr. Fortin has been awarded 200,000 restricted share units, pursuant to
the ExelTech Restricted Share Unit Plan. These RSU's will vest annually in
equal proportions over the next three years, in accordance with the terms of
the Plan.
    ExelTech also announced the appointment of Mr. Laurent Soustiel as
Director, Legal Affairs and Corporate Secretary. Mr. Soustiel was previously
Director, Legal Affairs of Mecachrome Canada Inc. He is admitted to the
Barreau du Québec and the Barreau de Paris.
