Exeltech Aerospace announces Atlantic Southeast Airlines has contracted for regional jet modifications

    MONTREAL, March 5 /CNW Telbec/ - ExelTech Aerospace Inc. ("ExelTech

publicly-listed commercial aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul
organization, today revealed that it has been contracted by Atlantic Southeast
Airlines ("ASA") to perform airframe and avionics modifications and structural
upgrades on 44 Bombardier CRJ-200 aircraft. This contract was previously
announced on February 7, 2007, although the customer was not disclosed at that
    Under this agreement, the Montreal-based aircraft maintenance, repair and
overhaul company will perform avionics and structural modifications on the
aircraft at its Montreal Regional Jet Maintenance Facility at
Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport. The work will be performed over
the next 14 months.

    ASA has been a customer of ExelTech Aerospace for four years. This
Atlanta-based regional airline, operating as a Delta Connection carrier,
initially contracted the Company to perform heavy maintenance on the airline's
fleet of ATR 72 regional turboprop aircraft. In 2006 this relationship was
extended to include modifications and refurbishments on Bombardier CRJ
regional jet aircraft that ASA had leased from a major US-based leasing
company. This latest contract further extends the relationship to include
modification work on aircraft already in the ASA fleet.
