Evian Masters Prepares to Take Center Stage

    Contest Offers Canadians the Chance to Win a Trip to 2009 Evian Masters

    TORONTO, July 7 /CNW/ -- This summer, golf fans from around the world
will witness some of the finest women's golf at the Evian Masters, an event
that has established itself as one of the sport's top competitions. This year
marks the 15th anniversary of the tournament, the second largest of its kind,
which will take place from July 24 to July 27 at the breathtaking Evian Royal
Resort in Evian-les-Bains, France.  To promote the tournament in Canada, Evian
has created a national promotion giving Canadians the chance to win a trip for
two to the 2009 Evian Masters.
    "For the last fifteen years, Evian has been home to one of the great
stops of the women's golf tour, making the Evian Masters core to the Evian
brand," said Jeff Caswell, VP of Marketing, Evian North America. "We want to
give Canadians the chance to see world-class women's golf being played in one
of the most unique settings in Evian-les-Bains, France, the origin of Evian

    The Evian Masters contest, scheduled to run June through August, will
require Canadian golf fans to text the word "Pure" to "777888".  The winner
will be chosen through a random drawing on September 2, 2008.
    The prize package consists of a four-day, three-night trip for two to
Evian-les-Bains, France and passes to the 2009 Evian Masters.  The trip
includes roundtrip airfare and luxury hotel accommodations with $500.00 CDN
spending money.  The contest will be promoted through in-store advertising.

and scope over its fifteen year history by striving to make each year better

golfers from the world circuits competing for a $3 million purse, the second
largest purse in women's golf.
