Halloween Haunt, Canada's largest Halloween event, unveils a new wave
VAUGHAN, ON, Oct. 1 /CNW/ - Medieval torture, cannibalistic pirates, and
fairy tales turned evil are just a few of the new dark secrets trapped within
the gates of Halloween Haunt at Canada's Wonderland. Ten blood curdling mazes,
a demented live show, 300 monsters, and chilling rides in the dark transform
the Park into Canada's largest haunted attraction. Halloween Haunt gates open
every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night in October, plus Saturday, November
1st, from 7:00 p.m. until midnight.
Halloween Haunt brings petrifying thrills through three new mazes. Fairy
tales aren't always what they seem as Mother Noose takes a revitalized look at
these forgotten and censored folktales, for anyone brave enough to see just
how dark the dark ages really were; and be introduced to the chilling side of
such classics as Little Red Riding Hood, Hansel and Gretel, and Briar Rose.
Set sail to buried treasure, and a bloodied massacre as Red Beard and his crew
await new victims to help them fulfill their bloodlust and release the spell
that has been keeping them from crossing over to death in Red Beard's Rage.
Long live the King? Not anymore. Prisoners have overthrown the kingdom and now
inflict the torture which they had long been subjected to as it comes full
circle on their royal oppressors in Kingdom of Carnage.
Hoping to rest between mazes? Dead Awakening is a brand new live
adult-oriented musical horror performance that will take you into the deeply
disturbed and twisted world of the contemporary human's psyche. Darkness and
evil that all have dreamed but never talked about, will be unleashed in the
Wonderland Theatre for this chilling, live show depicting one woman's
maddening nightmare in a performance that will leave audience members afraid
to go to sleep.
