Event set to motivate, connect businesswomen on Sept. 20

    Award-winning personality Dini Petty keynote speaker

    WATERLOO, ON, Sept. 4 /CNW/ - The opportunity to network with almost 300
high profile businesswomen is fast approaching, with the upcoming Inspiring
Women 'The Experience' event scheduled for September 20, 2007 at the Waterloo
    Set to motivate and empower professional women, entrepreneurs, and
community leaders, the event will be hosted by Lynn Haddrall, Editor in Chief,
The Record, radio personalities Lisa Drew, 570 News and Tara Connors, CHYM FM
and Daiene Vernile from CTV.
    The unique, one-day event will also feature a Keynote Address by
award-winning television personality Dini Petty and workshops by six of
Canada's leading experts, popular speakers, and business owners. They include:
Judy Suke, Harp Arora, Susan Sommers, Renate Weiler, Maureen
Bogoroch-Ditkofsy, and J. Merelle Rodrigo. The Marie Seiler Linden Award will
also be presented that day to one outstanding woman who inspires others.
    Inspiring Women 'The Experience', the region's signature professional
development event for women, has already attracted approximately 300 women
involved in the local, national, and international business community. The
event is presented by the Waterloo Region Small Business Centre and was
inspired by Debora Ritchie, event committee co-chair and Miller Thomson LLP
Business Development Manager for Southwestern Ontario Region, and Kathy Weiss,
event committee co-chair and the Small Business Centre. Door prizes include a
women's TAGHeuer watch from Raffi Jewellers in Conestoga Mall.
