EurOmax intersects 240 metres of disseminated chalcopyrite in Karavansalija copper-gold skarn

VANCOUVER, July 8 /CNW/ - EurOmax Resources Limited (TSX-V: EOX)
("EurOmax") is pleased to announce that diamond drilling has commenced on a
copper-gold skarn at Karavansalija intersecting 240 metres of disseminated
chalcopyrite. In addition drilling of a silica-breccia has been completed
intersecting 260 metres of silicified breccia with widespread epithermal and
boiling textures and locally abundant sulphides.
Two diamond drillholes EOKS 0828 and 0829 have been completed and
EOKS 00830 has been commenced at Karavansalija. These holes are testing a
silica-breccia diatreme and adjacent copper-gold skarn. The skarn has been
traced with drilling and geophysics from the silica breccia diatreme for
1500 metres to the south west.

    Silica Breccia

EOKS 0828, intersected silicified carbonates and volcanics with
disseminated sulphides from surface to 90 metres followed by sulphide bearing
silica breccia to 260 metres. The breccia and the overlying volcanics show
widespread open space epithermal textures and abundant disseminated sulphides.
The silica breccia body presents as a 400 metre by 600 metre coincident high
resistivity and chargeable IP feature which does not outcrop and is open at
depth. In the upper 30 metres of the silica breccia, sulphides are abundant
occurring as disseminations and cavity infill with recognizable boiling
textures. These features were not seen in previous drilling. Samples from the
entire drillhole have been prepared and submitted for assay. Images of
drillcore are available on the EurOmax website.

    Copper-Gold Skarn

EOKS 0829 and 0830 are testing a wide copper-gold skarn which extends
from the silica-breccia body for at least 1500 metres to the south west. While
wide spaced diamond drilling has defined the overall geometry of the skarn the
mineralised body remains open at depth. EOKS 0829 intersected garnet skarn
from 0 to 97 metres with widespread disseminated galena and sphalerite and
minor chalcopyrite. This was followed by 240 metres of garnet-pyroxene skarn
with disseminate chalcopyrite. The hole ended in quartz latite dyke. EOKS 0830
is presently at 20 metres intersecting garnet skarn with disseminated base
metal sulphides from surface.
