VANCOUVER, Feb. 3 /CNW/ - Renowned as Canada's leading entrepreneurial
conference and largest student-run business plan competition, Enterprize
Canada provides a glimpse into the future of Canadian innovation and growth.
Hosted and organized under the leadership of students from the University
of British Columbia's Sauder School of Business, Enterprize Canada is a
multi-faceted conference that links prominent young Canadian entrepreneurs
from coast-to-coast through a broad spectrum of events. Student delegates are
connected with industry leaders and budding entrepreneurs through a variety of
interactive workshops, excellent networking opportunities, keynote
presentations, a gala dinner and awards ceremony.
Enterprize Chairperson Boris Remes says they hope "to inspire students to
think innovatively, have fun, and allow them to experience firsthand what it's
like to make some of the tough choices of a budding entrepreneur."
Enterprize is now in its eighth year and this will be the first time
Sauder's flagship conference will feature the Innovation Challenge, a
partnered initiative with the BC Innovation Council (BCIC).
"This is truly a unique opportunity for business students to apply their
knowledge to real-world business scenarios," said Dean Rockwell, CEO, BCIC.

At the Innovation Challenge, delegates will bring to life advanced
technology innovations while working with several changing constraints and
resources as seen in the real business world. Upon completion of the
challenge, products will be evaluated by a panel of representatives and prizes
will be awarded to the winning teams.
