Energy-TV to hit US airwaves

    CALGARY, April 5 /CNW/ - Canada's weekly oil and gas news magazine show,
Energy-TV, is growing rapidly and will be launching the same format show in
the United States on April 7.
    "The rapid success and growing demand for the Canadian show as well as
growing interest from the United State's oil and gas industry led to the
development of Energy-TV in Houston," says Energy-TV executive producer, Neil
    The Houston Energy-TV show ( will focus on the
companies, the legislation and the people in the United State's petroleum
industry. Energy-TV will run on ABC's affiliate KTRK (Channel 13) in Houston
every Saturday at 2 p.m.
    "This new brand extension will provide both Canadian and U.S. firms
opportunities to share their expertise and learn more about the unique issues
in each market," adds Chandran.
    The first episode on April 7 will focus on the future of natural gas
supply in the United States including supply solutions. Governor of Alaska,
Sarah Palin, discusses the future of connecting Alaska natural gas to the rest
of the U.S. and Bill Cooper from the Center for Liquefied Natural Gas
discusses the future for liquefied natural gas terminals.
