Energentia Announces Positive Results at Zapatoca

TORONTO, Nov. 8 /CNW/ - Energentia Resources Inc. (TSXV: ENR) announced
today positive results from its regional stream sediment sampling program. A
total of 229 samples, in conjunction with ground radiometric surveying and
geological mapping, have defined multiple targets for further follow up. A
total of seven anomalous zones were delineated and more detailed exploration
activities are underway. The anomalous zones have been delineated by a
combination of stream sediment and ground radiometric anomalies, with
spectrometer readings of up to 750 parts per million uranium (ppm) in bedrock
and 1,120 ppm in float material.
The ground radiometrics traverses were conducted across the entire
licence block at 500-metre intervals, orientated east-west to cut across the
local stratigraphy and rock samples were collected where anomalous readings
were observed. A total of 406 rock samples were collected across the area. The
majority of the rock samples were derived from the target Girsn Formation, a
thick succession of prospective sandstones, conglomerates and siltstones. The
Girsn Formation occurs as part of the Cordillera Oriental, a section of the
Andean chain that is recognized as being particularly favourable for uranium
Twenty rock samples were submitted for ICP-MS analysis in order to
confirm the anomalous radiometric measurements. The results confirm uranium
contents of up to 797 ppm (0.08 %), significantly above normal background
level for uranium in sandstones, which are typically in the range of 2 to 4
ppm. More than half of the anomalous samples returned a uranium content of
greater than 100 ppm. The positive results have further focussed the current
exploration efforts that include more detailed radiometric traverses and rock
Fieldwork is due to commence on the Berlin project in mid-November, with
first-pass activities focussing on the collection of approximately 300 stream
sediment samples. An airborne geophysical survey is also scheduled to commence
in November, encompassing all five of Energentia's project areas in Colombia.
The results of this work, in conjunction with the ongoing fieldwork will
enable Energentia to establish drill targets, with drilling planned to
commence in early 2008.
Energentia is utilising the SGS laboratory in Medellin, Colombia for
sample preparation and the SGS laboratory in Callao, Peru for its geochemical
analyses. Mr Gareth O'Donovan (C.Eng. FIMMM) is the Qualified Person for this
project and is independent of the company. He has conducted the verification
for this project. SRK Exploration Services Ltd has been responsible for
overseeing the work to date, ensuring that all of the necessary QA/QC measures
are in place and adhered to.

Energentia is a uranium exploration and development company with
interests in a number of uranium exploration properties located in Colombia.
