Elementary teachers to launch major campaign that puts McGuinty government on notice

    ETFO Annual Meeting in Toronto

    TORONTO, Aug. 15 /CNW/ - The Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario
(ETFO) will reveal details tomorrow of a major campaign targeting the
provincial government of Ontario. The multi-media campaign addresses the
underfunding of elementary education that is hindering student success in
Ontario's elementary public school classrooms.

    The Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario represents 70,000 public
elementary school teachers and education workers across Ontario and is the
largest teacher federation in Canada.
