VANCOUVER, June 6 /CNW/ - egX Canada launched its participant sign-up
campaign with the distribution of marketing materials to investment dealers
across Canada. Teams of egX staff are following-up with these investment
dealers to explain the attributes and benefits of the egX marketplace and
sign-up egX Participants. As a sign-up incentive to investment dealers prior
to the launch, the listings application fee as well as the monthly access fees
are waived for a three-year period. These incentives are in addition to the
fact that egX Canada does not charge any trading fees. Our trading system
interface will be compatible with existing investment dealers' order entry
systems. Development and system testing is well underway.
To become an egX Participant, an investment dealer must be a member of
the Investment Dealers Association of Canada (IDA). For information on how to

Alexia Helgason: Manager, Marketing - egX Canada
Ms. Helgason's responsibilities include building relationships with
listed issuers, developing and enhancing egX Canada's value propositions,
marketing all products and services developed for listed issuers and managing
relationships with market stakeholders such as lawyers, accountants, brokers
and industry associations. Ms. Helgason has 12 years of experience working in
marketing, business development and relationship management for the TSX. Ms.
Helgason has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science.
Judi Sullivan: Trading Operations Specialist - egX Canada
Ms. Sullivan's responsibilities include user needs analysis, internal egX
trading system testing, system user support, and developing and maintaining
customer relationships with trading vendor participants. Ms. Sullivan has over
25 years of securities industry experience, most recently with the Market
Regulations Services Inc. (RS), Canaccord Capital Corporation, and the
Canadian Venture Exchange.
Robert Wong: Manager, Internal Audit - egX Management
Mr. Wong's responsibilities include supporting management at egX by
developing policies over internal controls and procedures and performing
financial and operational reviews. Mr. Wong has over 17 years of experience in
audit, real estate, and regulatory compliance, including 12 years of
experience at big-four chartered accountancy firms, 9 years of experience as a
licensed real estate broker and a multiple year member of the MLS Medallion
Club, and experience at the TSX-Venture Exchange and CIBC. Mr. Wong holds a
Bachelors of Science Degree in Business, and holds the Chartered Accountant
designation and the Certified Public Accountant (California) designation.
