board of directors has named John A. DiMaria to serve as the company's
Director of Professional Services.
Mr. DiMaria has served since February 2002 as BSI Management Systems
America's Product Manager for Risk and Business Continuity Standards where he
has spent his 6-year career for overseeing development, education, expertise
and entity scheme management for BSI regarding all information security and
business continuity activities including ISO 27001, BS 25999 and ISO 20000.
Previously, John served four years as a member of the Top Management
Operations Board of Directors for a multi-site $100M corporation.
John attended Columbia College, is a Certified HISP (Holistic Information
Security Practitioner) and Six Sigma Black Belt. He has 24 years in the
industry specializing in Information Security, Management System Analysis and
Improvement, Regulatory Analysis and Compliance, Risk Assessment and
Management, Failure Mode Investigation and Six Sigma strategies on both a
national and international level.
John serves on committees that influence legislation and drive
international harmonization such as the coordinating committee of the ITAA
(Information Technology Association of America) which promotes proactive cyber
security legislation and the Governance Board of Holistic Information Security
Practitioner (HISP) Institute which promotes a holistic approach to
information security program management by providing certification
opportunities in information security, information assurance and governance.
