    Stevenson Named One of the Most Powerful Women in the Technology Channel

provider, today announced Kim Stevenson, EDS vice president of Enterprise
Service Management, was named one of the most powerful women in the technology
channel by CMP Channel's VARBusiness Magazine, the leading source of channel

    Stevenson oversees the global development and delivery of EDS'
information technology services, EDS' data center facilities worldwide and
client infrastructure engineering. In this capacity, she is responsible for
the service delivery and solution engineering for over 450 clients globally.
Stevenson played a key role in EDS' ability to grow 2006 contract signings in
the areas of network and infrastructure by 36 percent year over year and
expand its operating margin in those areas by four percent during the same
period through the implementation of automated intelligent network and server
    Additionally, Stevenson is a member of EDS' Corporate Diversity Council,
external auditors management board and Technology Governance Board, which
establishes direction for and provides guidance to the EDS technical
community, including EDS fellows and EDS distinguished systems engineers. She
also writes an industry blog about quality IT operations and their impact on
customer service entitled "The Goal: Customer Service in the IT Industry" for
eds.com and serves as executive sponsor of EDS' Global Women's Network, an EDS
employee group started to connect women throughout the organization.
    The second annual VARBusiness Power 50 Women of the Channel awards honor
the female executives making the biggest impact in the IT channel. The list
