today that a purchase and sale agreement has been signed which will see
EastLink acquiring RuSh Communications Ltd as of September 1, 2007.

RuSh Communications serves customers throughout Nova Scotia with its
largest systems located in the Bridgetown area of the Annapolis Valley, the
Clare area of Digby County, Milford, Port Hawkesbury, Richmond, Canso,
Eskasoni, Mulgrave, and Port Hood.

transitioning customers to EastLink's operational systems and services," said
