Done vs. Not Done: Dalton McGuinty's record

TORONTO, Oct. 3 /CNW/ - As Dalton McGuinty moves about the province
avoiding the citizens of Ontario at every turn, he continues to claim he's
done things he hasn't done.
Today, Dalton McGuinty claimed he had met with Ottawa resident Mike Brady
and talked about Mr. Brady's experience as a cancer patient in Dalton
McGuinty's Ontario. In reality what he did was say Mr. Brady wasn't telling
the truth and walked on by.

Mr. Brady: "I've got cancer and you're not helping any."

Dalton McGuinty (without breaking stride): "That's not true. That's
        not true."

Here are some more examples of things Dalton McGuinty hasn't done.

NOT DONE: Solved the doctor shortage (as promised in 2003).

DONE: Watched the number of Ontarians without a family doctor grow
from nearly 1 million to 1 million adults plus 130,000 children.

NOT DONE: Unclogged ERs (as promised in 2003).

DONE: Watched while wait times in emergency rooms grew to more than
7 hours across the province. The wait time is more than 12 hours in
Toronto. Ignored multiple reports that offered solutions to the

NOT DONE: Met wait times targets for key surgeries (as promised in

DONE: Resorted to false advertising and a misleading website to claim
        wait times were being reduced.

    Leadership Matters.
