DIRECTV partners with Kangaroo TV(TM) to expand NFL SUNDAY TICKET(TM) In-Stadium service to Four NFL Stadiums



    MIRABEL, QC, Aug. 13 /CNW Telbec/ - Kangaroo Media announced the
expansion of its NFL SUNDAY TICKET(TM) In-stadium by DIRECTV service to two
new NFL stadiums. The Houston Texans and Seattle Seahawks will join the
Miami Dolphins and Washington Redskins by offering this unique service during
the 2007 season, allowing fans to watch any NFL Sunday Ticket(TM) game on a
Kangaroo TV(TM) portable handset while attending an actual NFL game live.
    Kangaroo Media and DIRECTV have an agreement to bring DIRECTV's exclusive
NFL SUNDAY TICKET programming to fans at NFL stadiums using Kangaroo TV(TM)
proprietary technology. The program was introduced as a one-year trial basis
last season in Miami and Washington, and the NFL has agreed to extend this
offering through the 2008/2009 season.
    The service will be available beginning with each team's 2007 regular
season opening home game. Single-game rentals are $24.95 with full-season
plans at $149.95, and just $119.95 for season ticket holders or DIRECTV
subscribers ($79.95 in Seattle, where the Seahawks play fewer games during the
NFL SUNDAY TICKET window).
    Fans can rent their handset at Kangaroo TV kiosks at each stadium, or
reserve them online at www.kangaroo.tv.
    The DIRECTV Red Zone(TM) channel, live statistics from every game, and
the CBS and FOX pre game shows can also be viewed on the Kangaroo TV(TM)
handset, along with each participating team's home games (NFL blackout
restrictions apply). Plus, this season will mark the debut of real-time
fantasy statistics from NFL.com, scoring updates from any game of the user's
choice, and a variety of other new features.

watching their games on Kangaroo TV in the stands or in the parking lot," said

users we surveyed last season were nearly unanimous in their praise of the
handset and its ability to enhance their in-stadium experience. That gave both
DIRECTV and the NFL a strong incentive to expand the service and offer new
features."
