VANCOUVER, Aug. 13 /CNW/ - Pacific Cascade Minerals Inc. (the "Company")
advises that the mobilization and construction of the exploration camp on its
"Crack Moly" Molybdenum prospect is complete and diamond drilling has begun on
its 2,000 meter "Phase 1" drill program. This "Phase 1" drill program will
consist of a minimum of 8 holes to test this open ended geophysical anomaly
that is approximately 800 metres in diameter and continues to a minimum depth
of 300 metres below surface which was the depth limit of the I.P. survey. This
first drill hole CM-07-01, is planned to be drilled to a depth of 350 metres,
and is targeting both the geophysical anomaly and the breccia complex as
mapped on surface where previous surface sampling returned anomalous grades of
Molybdenum in rosettes, disseminations and fracture controlled veinlets.
Mr. Robert Krause, B.Sc., Geologist (Director) has been advised by senior
on-site geologist, Mr. Mike Miller, that the drill was collared atop the first
breccia target and drilling has commenced. The Phase 1 and 2 drill programs
provide for a minimum of two thousand (2000) and four thousand (4000) meters
of drilling respectively on the property which comprises 8 contiguous staked
mineral claims totaling approximately 3300 hectares.
