Desjardins contributes to the Semaine nationale de la sécurité de l'information

    This week, Desjardins has another opportunity to remind its members and
    clients of the efforts put together to ensure the protection of their
    personal information.

    QUEBEC, June 11 /CNW Telbec/ - Desjardins Group, the largest financial
institution in Québec, is pleased to be associated with the Québec government
and other various partners as part of the first Semaine nationale de la
sécurité de l'information (Information Security Week).
    Thus, from June 11 to 15, visitors to the different Desjardins Group Web
sites will be reminded of the importance of respecting basic security rules
that are the grounds for responsible behaviour. By doing so, inconveniences
that could give rise to identity thefts, for example, are avoided.

especially", stated Louis-Daniel Gauvin, Senior Vice-President, Integrated
Risk Management Executive Division of Desjardins Group.
    This week provides another opportunity for the cooperative financial
institution to promote good behavioural habits among its members, clients and
employees with a view to protecting their personal information on the
