their organizations, the CMA Executive Program is a two-year, part-time course
of study that provides experienced business professionals a flexible pathway
to earn the CMA designation. The program brings together a distinguished group
of colleagues and moderators from diverse industries and backgrounds, to

Dean Bates, DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University. "Eventually,
the natural next step in my career will be to pursue a portfolio of governance
activities. The CMA designation will help me be better prepared for that

breadth of business disciplines, such as Management Accounting, Corporate
Finance, Strategic Management and International Business. In year 2,
participants complete an executive version of the CMA "Strategic Leadership
Program", which explores how contemporary techniques in strategy, management
accounting, marketing and IT guide strategic planning and implementation,
through all phrases of an organization's product/service life cycle.(*)
"The CMA Executive Program, launched in 2000, provides an outstanding
forum for executives who already possess very senior financial expertise to
earn the CMA designation," says Bryan Jacobs, Director of Workforce
