Date Of Inquest Into The Deaths of Lori Dupont And Marc Daniel Announced



    TORONTO, Aug. 13 /CNW/ - Dr. Bonita Porter, Deputy Chief Coroner of
Inquests, today announced the date for the inquest into the deaths of Ms. Lori
Dupont and Dr. Marc Daniel.
    Ms. Dupont, 36, was a nurse at Hotel-Dieu Grace Hospital in Windsor when
she died on November 12, 2005. Dr. Daniel, 50, was an anaesthesiologist at the
same hospital when he died on November 15, 2005. At the time of Ms. Dupont's
death, both individuals were on duty at the hospital. Ms. Dupont and Dr.
Daniel had been in a relationship prior to their deaths.
    The inquest is expected to last eight weeks and will hear from
approximately 50 witnesses.
    The inquest will begin at 9:30 a.m. Monday, September 24, 2007, at the
Ciociaro Club of Windsor, 3745 North Talbot Road, Oldcastle. Dr. Andrew
McCallum, Regional Supervising Coroner for Eastern Ontario, will preside as
inquest coroner and Mr. Eric Siebenmorgen will be counsel to the coroner.
