Daniel Barbeau to the position of Publisher of Métro Montréal. M. Barbeau will
assume his new duties as of March 19, 2007.
Daniel possesses many years of experience with Transcontinental Media.
After having worked as a Sales Representative and then Assistant Director of
Advertising and Marketing at Le Devoir, Daniel became Director of Business
Development for Transcontinental Media in 1999 and was promoted to the
position of General Manager and Publisher of Constructo in 2000. After a brief
sojourn in the world of IT as Vice-President of Sales and Marketing at
CEDROM-SNi, a Transcontinental business partner, Daniel is pleased to dive
back into the world of newspaper publishing. A law graduate and member of the
bar, Daniel also has a university degree in business administration.
