CTV's THE VOICE Gets Louder with Double Digit Growth in Week 2

- #1 Entertainment Program of the night nationally in key demos, winning its timeslot in Toronto and Vancouver -
- THE VOICE out-sings GLEE nationally with total viewers and all key demos -
- THE VOICE moves to 10 p.m. ET timeslot beginning Tuesday, May 10 on CTV -

TORONTO, May 4 /CNW/ - CTV's THE VOICE continued to make itself heard last night, growing 13% compared to its premiere last week and ending the night as the #1 entertainment program of the day in all key demos nationally. With an average audience of 1.7 million viewers, THE VOICE also grew in its second hour compared to its first for the second week in a row.

Also to note:

  • Nationally, CTV's THE VOICE (9-11 p.m.) delivered more viewers than GLEE (FOX/Global 8-9 p.m.) with total viewers (+13%) and in all key demos, +9% for A18-34, +14% for A18-49 and +12% for A25-54
  • From 10-11 p.m., THE VOICE (1.8 million in the hour) delivered 48% more total viewers than THE GOOD WIFE (1.2 million; CBS/Global)
  • THE VOICE was the #1 program overall for Females 18-49 and 25-54
  • THE VOICE was #1 Entertainment Program in its timeslot with all key demos in Toronto and #1 with A18-34 and A18-49 in Vancouver
