TORONTO, March 6 /CNW/ - Today, CTVglobemedia announced that John R.
Gossling, 42, has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of CTVglobemedia,
effective April 7, 2008.
He replaces Robin Fillingham, 63, who is retiring. This afternoon CTVgm's
Board unanimously congratulated Robin for his 37 years of distinguished and
exemplary service to the Company. Mr. Fillingham will serve as a consultant to
Mr. Gossling during the transition period.
Mr. Gossling has excelled in his field for over 22 years, most recently
as Vice President, Financial Operations, Rogers Communications Inc. From 2000
to 2005, Mr. Gossling served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial
Officer of Rogers Wireless Communications Inc. From 1985 to 2000, Mr. Gossling
was employed by KPMG. He was a Partner in KPMG's U.S. Capital Markets Group
based in New York and London and prior to that was a Partner in the firm's
Information, Communications and Entertainment Practice based in Toronto.

Mr. Gossling holds a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of
Waterloo and is a Chartered Accountant (Canadian and Ontario Gold Medalist
