TORONTO, Dec. 12 /CNW/ - As announced earlier today, hit programming from
CTV and its specialty channels The Comedy Network and MTV are now available
from the iTunes Store in Canada (www.itunes.ca). iTunes becomes the next
digital platform for CTV's original Canadian series, in addition to The CTV
Broadband Network and Rogers' CTV on Demand service. The iTunes deal
represents for CTV yet another opportunity for viewers to catch up to episodes
already broadcast on CTV.

it allows CTV viewers to play catch up as well, delivering CTV content on
their own terms."
"I'm very excited about Corner Gas being on iTunes," said Brent Butt,

CTV programming on iTunes is the latest element in a digital strategy
that has seen CTV content also made available on Broadband and VOD platforms.
In June, 2006, CTV launched Canada's first multi-channel broadband service at
CTV.ca, offering original content via the internet for free. The service now
provides over 100 hours of top Canadian programs and U.S. titles. iTunes
content from The Comedy Network can also be seen on TheComedyNetwork.ca, while
MTV's The Hills is also available on MTV.ca.
Earlier this year, CTV and Rogers announced a partnership with Warner
Bros. International Television that saw the first ever U.S. conventional
network series that air on CTV to be made available on Rogers' CTV on Demand
VOD service. The initiative also sees original content from CTV and its
specialty services available on demand.
