PALM BEACH GARDENS, FLA., January 31 /CNW/ - Cross Match Technologies,

The 13th Annual Abacus Award was presented by the Florida Council of AeA
to honor high-tech executives and companies who have taken steps to advance
the business of technology in Florida. Cross Match was recognized for its role
teaching "Live Scan Fingerprint Certification" at Palm Beach Community
College, which included student lectures, demonstrations and hands-on use of
live scan biometric equipment.

The introductory seminar presented by Cross Match was designed for law

techniques currently used in the field of crime scene investigation. Students
in this course learned basic fingerprint patterns and interpretations and

purposes. Offered in spring of 2006, the course will be part of the curriculum
at Palm Beach Community College in the spring of 2007.

"We are pleased to receive this award as it represents one of the highest
recognitions for technology companies in Florida," said Marcey Jordan Taylor,
senior vice president of global marketing and sales for Cross Match. "Cross
Match is honored to be recognized alongside other technology leaders and will
continue to promote the advancement of technology in Florida and beyond."
