Coveted logistics award pits Coastal Contacts European subsidiary against popular global firms

    Company to compete against Honda and Sony Ericsson for prestigious award


    VANCOUVER, Sept. 10 /CNW/ - Coastal Contacts Inc. (TSX:COA) announced
today that its wholly owned European subsidiary, LensLogistics AB, has been
nominated for the Posten Logistics Award. The award is given annually by the
Swedish Postal Corporation to the company or organization that has created the
most effective, innovative and creative logistics solution that also increases
the competitiveness of the company.
    Along with LensLogistics' nomination, three other companies were
recognized: H&M, Sony Ericsson and Honda. The 2007 winner will be announced at
the Posten Logistics Award 2007 ceremony to be held October 17, 2007 in
