Counsel Wealth Management appoints new Private Client Portfolio Manager

    TORONTO, Sept. 25 /CNW/ - Counsel Wealth Management (Counsel) today
announced that Joseph Pochodyniak has joined the Counsel team as Portfolio
Manager, Private Client Group.
    As an integral part of Counsel's portfolio management team, Mr.
Pochodyniak will help design, implement and manage Counsel's Private Client
offering, enhancing techniques for evaluating and rebalancing high net worth
client portfolios. The private client program offers a unique portfolio
management system, designed to create long-term sustainable wealth.
    "Mr. Pochodyniak understands the high net worth market and can provide a
comprehensive assessment of clients' investment portfolios in partnership with
financial advisors" said Sam Febbraro, President and CEO, Counsel Wealth
Management. "He will be a valuable addition to the portfolio management team."
    Mr. Pochodyniak developed his career at a major financial institution,
most recently managing the strategic asset allocation of discretionary high
net value client accounts at the bank owned asset manager, and trading equity,
fixed income, precious metal and derivative securities for retail clients of
their discount brokerage. He facilitated business development in each role.
    A Chartered Financial Analyst, Mr. Pochodyniak also holds a Bachelor of
Science from the University of Toronto, obtained a Derivatives Market
Specialist designation from the Canadian Securities Institute and is a Fellow
of the Institute. In addition, he is a member of The Toronto CFA Society and
the Association for Investment Management and Research.
