TORONTO, Feb. 20 /CNW/ - The Board of Directors of Corona Gold Corp. (the
"Company") (CRG - TSX) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ned Goodman
as Chairman of the Board of the Company. Mr. Goodman was formerly a director
of the Company from 1996 to 2003.
Mr. Goodman is President and Chief Executive Officer of Dundee
Corporation. He has almost four decades of investment experience as a
securities analyst, portfolio manager and senior executive. He has an
established reputation as one of Canada's most successful investment
Mr. Goodman is a geologist with a Bachelor of Science degree from McGill
University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of
Toronto. He earned the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst in 1967. In
1997, he was awarded a Doctorate of Laws, honoris causa, by Concordia
Mr. Goodman is also chairman of Dundee Wealth Management Inc. and the
Board of Trustees of Dundee REIT, as well as a director of Breakwater
Resources Ltd., Cogitore Resources Inc., Dundee Corporation, Dundee REIT,
Dundee Wealth Management Inc. and Eurogas Corporation. He is the Chancellor of
Brock University. He is actively involved in various philanthropic activities,
is Chairman Emeritus of the Canadian Council of Christians and Jews and a
Governor of Junior Achievement of Canada.
Dundee Corporation owns, directly or indirectly, approximately 27.1% of
the outstanding common shares of the Company.
